The members of Borghesia was / are Aldo I and Lado J and Borut K, Niklas S, Dario S and Tom T.

The band / group was formed 1983 in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, by some students as a spin-off to a theater-project. The band had its own place where they gave performance and arranged concerts. Among other things Borghesia organized Laibachs first public appearance.

Borghesias image is antiauthoritarian and anti-nationalistic. However they emphasize different forms of submission and coercion these are not just political to their nature but also of a sexual nature.
Borghesias visual image, for example on their record covers, is very explicit homosexual and has sadomasochistic undertone.

Between 1987 and 1992 the group was signed by "Play it again Sam", who has artists as Front 242 and similar EBM-groups. I guess Borghesia don’t exist anymore because its been five years since their latest release, and there isn’t any news of an new album.

But Kraftwerk is still working and they waited about 13 years to release some new material, so I guess there is still hope for Borghesia.
